Dr. Tim Knight

Dr. Tim Knight provides chiropractic care to children and adults using gentle, low force adjusting techniques. He says, “My focus is to help patients achieve long term health, not just the alleviation of specific symptoms.
Dr. Tim is a specialist in Pediatric care, directional non force technique. He is proficient in the following techniques: (DNFT), Koren Specific Technique (KST), Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), Torque Release Technique (TRT).
Dr. Tim completed his pre-chiropractic education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic education in Davenport, Iowa in 1982.

After practicing for 14 months with a chiropractor in Somerville, he opened his own practice in Arlington in 1984.  He  co-founded the
Massachusetts Alliance for Chiropractic Philosophy and remains active on their Board of Directors.
Dr. Tim says, “We have found that people who understand their care make better informed choices about their care … and they respond better. At Knight Chiropractic, we provide several opportunities for learning about chiropractic and your health in general.”
Knight Chiropractic presents all patients with a detailed report and an introductory video with background information that helps you to better understand the information in your report.
The office has a lending library with many books on varied health-related topics in addition to chiropractic topics. Informative pamphlets on various aspects of your care are available for patients to read at home.
Dr. Tim stresses, “The most important resources for learning more about your specific health questions are your doctor and staff. Ask as many questions as you need to ask; answering them is an essential part of our relationship with you. Our relationship is what makes the difference, and we would love to make a difference for you.

Lindsay

Chiropractic Assistant

Lindsay came to Knight Chiropractic in 2022 as Chiropractic Assistant. She immediately saw the benefits of working in an office where they strive to build community among patients and staff. You’ll notice staff artwork and hand-made quilts by staff and patients on loan displayed in the office for all to appreciate. Needle crafts are often brought in to work on and chat about.
Lindsay is the youngest member of the staff, but she is mature and innovative in her creativity and talent for making everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
Together with Cathy, Lindsay helps to keep Dr. Tim on track … scheduling his appointments, keeping the patient files in order, and making sure he sees everyone on time.
“From the moment patients walk in, we want them to feel they are with friends. We often share personal stories and family news. There are patients who still come to see Dr. Tim having been youngsters when they first got adjustments here.”
Lindsay loves animals and is often asked to be a brief caretaker of a dog or cat while its owner is being adjusted! It is evident that she loves her job at Knight Chiropractic and looks forward to meeting every new patient  that walks in the door with a big smile!

Cathy

Office Manager

Cathy joined Knight Chiropractic in 2000 after being a patient of Dr. Tim’s for about five years! She will celebrate her 25th Anniversary with the practice in February.  As Office Manager, Cathy does just about everything on “one side of the desk.” She doesn’t make adjustments, but she managers to keep the office running smoothly while handling bookings and insurance billing for patients.
She explained that insurance billing can be tricky. She advises patients talk with her so she can call their insurance company for coverage information. Her years of experience give her quick access to the people she needs to talk with to get the information required.
Cathy says her favorite part about working at Knight Chiropractic is all the people they serve. “The office is so family-oriented – not like most doctors’ offices. Everyone knows each other.  It’s all about the people we see on a regular basis. We are on a first name basis and all part of the community we create. We are a busy office, and patients are directed to their rooms fairly quickly – but, on the other hand, they like to sit in the waiting room and chat with each other.”
Her thoughts for the future – “I just want everyone to stay healthy!”
